• The Dark Knight

  I started my traditional shaving journey a number of years ago. One of the first traditional shaving sites I visited was Simpsons Brushes. It was at that time that I first fell in love with the Chubby 2. I recently noticed the Limited Edition Ebony Chubby 2, aka “The Dark Knight”, and was sold at that point. I’ve had the brush for a couple of weeks now and it hasn’t disappointed. The brush knot is super soft, right out of the box, and gets softer as break-in advances. There was a very mild animal funk that quickly disappeared after a couple of break-in lathers . Additionally, the ebony handle is just a stunner that pictures just don’t do it justice. I highly recommend this Chubby 2 as it is truly a joy to lather with and an heirloom item to be passed on to the next generation of traditional shavers in your family. Enjoy!
