• Excellent shaving brush that lathers well and has a nice backbone

  Before using this brush, I soaked it in soapy water overnight and then rinsed it completely before letting it air dry. I think the Chubby2 is the correct size for a normal face (I also have the Chubby3) and it is very easy to control where the lather goes. I was using a hard soap and it lathers very well - when used with a scuttle, it holds the warmth for a long time - enough for 2 passes.
  The brush is very dense and has a nice backbone - thus applying the lather has a nice feel to it. The chubby handle is easy to hold and does not slip. One gets a very nice soft and luxurious shave when using this brush and it is a keeper. I have added it to the brushes I use on a regular rotational basis and I would strongly recommend this brush for daily use.
